My beginnings were humble: as a new immigrant in the US, an ESL (English as a Second Language) student and a single parent, I had my share of challenges. After years of struggle, I was extremely fortunate to eventually meet a wonderful mentor. On his advice, I entered a career of Information Technology, eventually building a successful consulting business, becoming a columnist in international technology publication Component Magazine (former Object Magazine) and speaking at International Technology EXPOs.
Knowing hardship and working my way to a fulfilling and successful career, had given me a firsthand intimate understanding of the challenges facing people on their journeys – both internal and external.
